Description
This beautiful bowl is constructed of 4800 individual segments of maple, walnut, bloodwood, and cherry glued to a walnut base. It was then shaped on a wood lathe using hand tools. Nearly 150 hours were needed to put this all together, and it used more than a quart of wood glue. Because of the construction style of this bowl, it should not be used for salads or other wet foods. It can be wiped out with a damp cloth if needed. The dimensions are 11″ wide by 7″ high.
