Description
A clean, well-preserved example from Seth Thomas’s early 20th-century Dana series, built during the company’s transition into Mission and early-Deco styling. The solid mahogany case retains its original finish with a warm, even sheen, paired with a brass bezel and convex glass door. The enamel dial remains crisp, free of spidering or stains.
The clock houses the factory Seth Thomas 8-day movement with dual mainsprings and original components throughout — pendulum bob, hammer, and both winding keys included. The movement is clean and appears recently serviced, making the piece mechanically and cosmetically strong.
A solid, collectible, pre-WWI American mantel clock with good proportions, good provenance, and better-than-average condition.
